Seal Engineering, Inc. is a civil/ structural engineering company specializing in roofing, waterproofing, and building enclosure design and consulting. Our mission is to provide quality engineering services focused on preventing and eliminating moisture migration into existing and new buildings while balancing system reliability and longevity with sustainability considerations. Located in Alexandria, Virginia, our company is centered in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area, and includes numerous projects throughout the mid-Atlantic region. We have also completed projects in other parts of the United States, including Nevada, Florida, and Indiana, as well as for buildings overseas.
Our clients include a wide range of federal, state, and local government agencies and private clients such as condominiums, universities, schools, and commercial property owners. Since our founding in 1980, we have completed over 5,000 investigations and designs, including many on landmark and historic buildings such as the White House, the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, the Pentagon, various House and Senate office buildings, the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress buildings, several Smithsonian Institution museums and most of the Federal Triangle buildings. We recognize owners have substantial investments in their buildings, and we strive to help ensure their investments are protected for the long term.
